Milliman IntelliScript adds critical stop loss expertise to its Curv® Group Health team

Milwaukee, WI—Milliman IntelliScript affirmed its strategic focus on stop loss carriers by adding two important customer-facing roles to the team responsible for selling and supporting its Curv Group Health predictive model for risk assessment and underwriting.

Ayanna Charles has joined the company as Sales Consultant, and Ashley Gustafson has been added as Account Executive. They will help stop loss carriers understand, evaluate, and implement the model to isolate risk above a specified individual stop-loss threshold, giving finely tuned insight into potential high-cost claims. They are also tasked with showing existing users the value of recently added features that have expanded the product well beyond group risk scoring.

Curv disrupted group health underwriting over a decade ago by using a patented process and deidentified data to very quickly model group risk when claims data is missing or lacking,” says Dan Becker, Curv Product Director. “But our first customers would hardly recognize it now, since we’ve vastly improved it with advanced benchmarking features that deliver valuable insights in support of the score. Ayanna and Ashley have the necessary knowledge of the group health space—along with the chops to effectively communicate the game-changing value of these upgrades—and will help our customers get the full benefit from today’s Curv.”

About Curv Group Health
Milliman IntelliScript’s Curv Group Health model was the first predictive model to supplant questionnaires and rate table manuals in group health risk assessment.
